This rare Japanese 3-part storage chest has large pieces of attractive persimmon wood in the construction, giving the overall piece a very rich texture. The dense nature of Persimmon wood allows this storage chest to be quite robust and sturdy. Additionally, this piece features circular lock plates and brass fittings, which contrast nicely with the dark wood.
